Hi friends!
We’re off to a really good start here at MKC! We’ve had students from Madison visiting the School of Freshwater Science kayak with us on guided paddles. We’ve had residents involved in the AOC (Area of Concern) educate and introduce our watershed to people. We’ve also had a few high school outdoor adventure programs and even students and chaperones from a nature school kayak with us. We’re very thankful that we can offer these guided paddles and introduce so many different kinds of people to our rivers. If you’re part of any worker organization and want to host a guided paddle with us, or know someone who would be interesting in organizing any type of guided paddle, please let us know or pass along our information to them. We’ve also outfitted you and we hope it’s been a great start to the season for you too. The weather has been super nice for kayaking and we’re looking forward to a fun and safe summer with everyone.
Our Main location @ Jerry’s Docks is open seven days a week. MKC @ Schlitz Park opens next weekend and MKC @ Twisted Fisherman opens Friday, June 12th.
