Hey Everyone,
We’ve called our Morning Paddles so many different things in the past years (last year it was “Good Morning…”) and this year, we’re gifting our morning paddles the name “Milwaukee Morning Paddles.” Sounds so lovely, we can’t wait to share them with you.
Our Milwaukee Morning Paddles are offered most days 10am-12/noon. These paddles are a great way to enjoy kayaking our rivers in nice, safe, fun and casual atmosphere, lead by a guide from MKC.
Upon arrival, we will outfit you with the proper kayak, life jacket and paddle. We will review the river map and be sure you are comfortable on-land before venturing out. We will decide as a group which river(s) we would like to paddle and then return back to our dock around noon.
While paddling, we will keep an eye out for different sites along the way including Historic Third Ward buildings, downtown Milwaukee Riverwalk art sculptures, the Riverside Theater and Dream with the Fishes for Aurora, Pere Marquette Park, the Milwaukee County Historical Society, Fiserv Forum and Schlitz Park. We may paddle up the Menomonee River to see the the Harley-Davidson Museum or check out the Hoan Bridge in the harbor. Either way, we’ll get to see many sites from the river as we paddle through the city.
Please meet us at our main location in Jerry’s Docks where we will launch and return back to our dock
Free parking is available in our parking lot and on the street. We are located inside the boatyard, along the river. Please check in anytime between 9:45am-10am, thanks!
