Hey everyone! We’re hosting a Kayak Crawl with FunkClub in celebration of Light the Hoan’s Hoancoming, and everyone is invited!
We will launch from our main location at Jerry’s Docks, paddle up through Downtown to Lakefront Brewery, turn around and paddle back to our main location. Let’s dress in bright colors, wear our life jackets, have some fun in the sun and enjoy life on our rivers.

If you’d like to launch your own kayak, please use a public launch and meet us at the end of our dock or anywhere on the river! See general timeline below.

Saturday, August 17th
Time:
3pm-5:30pm —> Funktoon will launch from our dock at 3:30pm
Timeline:
- 2:45pm-3:15pm: arrive to MKC for check-in
- 3:30pm: Funktoon departs from our dock
- 3:30pm-4:30pm: Paddle upriver to Lakefront Brewery
- 4:30pm-5:30pm: Paddle downriver back to our dock (main location)
- 5:30pm: return back to our dock
CANCELATION INFO:
If the Kayak Crawl needs to be canceled due to weather or river conditions, we will notify you by phone and/or email and you can rebook for a rental on a different date or receive a refund, whatever works best for you. If you need to cancel due to personal reasons, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
ANYONE CAN JOIN!
For those launching their own kayaks, meet us at the end of our dock anytime after 3pm or anywhere on the river. Please see our blog for a list of public docks.
